How We Control Pest

Inspection

Each service your technician will make sure to take note of any new activity or conducive conditions.

For your intitial service, your Troff Services’ technician will thoroughly inspect your home to create the best plan to relieve your pest control issues.

Liquid Barrier Treatment

In most situations Troff Services treats your home with a residual repellant barrier. This barrier is designed to deter pest from entering your home.

Granular Barrier

Outside of the liquid barrier, a granular barrier is spead around your home. This granular acts as a food source in which most pest will eat and, in colony pest, bring back to the nest and share.

Knock Down Spider Webs

Many clients biggest pet peeve is the spider webs appearing on their home. Troff Services Technicians take the time after each service to go around the home and knock these down. Destroying the webs helps to keep spiders from wanting to make their webs on the home.

Pest Treatment

With our One-Time service, you can schedule a treatment for a certain pest that is of concern. The pests that are able to be a one-time treatment include:

Stinging Pests – Wasps, Hornets, Yellow Jackets (Includes a 30 day Follow-up)
Outdoor Yard Pests – Fleas/Ticks, Cicada Killers, Fire Ants
Indoor Fleas (Includes a 30 day Follow-up)

Mosquito Control

Our service runs on a 21 day cycle from March to October in which 10 services are completed. Based on our research and the research of the pest control industry as a whole. Mosquito treatments yield the best results when applied every 21 days.

Mice Control

$39/month for additional treatments

Our Mice Control service will include an inspection to find active signs and trace pathways from the feeding sites to entrances of nests. We place down traps and use a Bio Enzyme solution around the exterior of your home to eliminate pheromone trails to deter mice from entering your home. Depending on severity of the mice issue, treatment timeframe can range from 2-6+ months.

How often should pest control be done?

Typically, we recommend regular pest control treatments on a quarterly basis. However, this can depend on the severity of the infestation and the type of pests involved.

Is pest control safe for my pets and children?

We prioritize the health and safety of your family and pets. Our technicians use products that are registered with the EPA and apply them in a manner that minimizes risk. However, we always advise that children and pets be kept away during treatment and for a short period afterwards.

How soon can you see the results of pest control?

This can vary depending on the type of pests and the nature of the treatment. Some pests may be eliminated immediately, while others can take a few days to a couple of weeks. Our technicians will explain what to expect.While we utilize state-of-the-art cleaning techniques and solutions that can remove a wide variety of stains, some stains, especially if they have set for a long time, may not be completely removable.

Do I have to leave my home during the treatment?

In most cases, you won't need to leave your home. However, for certain types of treatments, temporary evacuation may be required. We will inform you ahead of time if this is necessary.

What can I do to prevent pests in my home?

Regular cleaning, proper food storage, and sealing cracks or openings around your home can help prevent pests. Regular professional inspections and treatments can also keep pests at bay.

Can I do my own pest control?

While there are over-the-counter products available, they may not be effective for all types of pests or infestations. Professional pest control services are equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide a more comprehensive and lasting solution.

Are the chemicals used harmful to the environment?

We use products that are designed to minimize environmental impact. Many of the products we use are the same approved substances used in schools, food manufacturing plants, and hospitals.

What are some signs of pest infestation?

Signs can vary depending on the pest, but common indicators include droppings, property damage, unusual smells, nests or pest noises, and of course, seeing the pests themselves.

I don't see any pests - why do I need regular pest control?
